Latest Images: Duranbah Beach
These digital images of Duranbah beach, the Tweed River Entrance and Letitia Spit located at the North Coast New South Wales (Australia) are updated every hour. They are being collected and analysed to quantify beach conditions, following the construction of a sand bypassing system at the nearby entrance to the Tweed River.
A single camera is mounted atop the Captain Cook Memorial Lighthouse, and is being hosted by the Point Danger Volunteer Marine Rescue Station, located at the base of the monument. All images are saved, and may be viewed (and downloaded) by visiting the image archive.
